The 7 year old Coniston George bounced back to form yesterday at Carlisle when storming home in the Southwaite handicap hurdle over 2 miles 3 furlongs.

Settled just behind the leaders by Danny McMenamin, Coniston George made smooth progress to challenge on the run to the final hurdle. Once Danny asked him to quicken he quickly settled the race in a matter of strides storming clear to win by 6 lengths.

This win continued the excellent form of the Nicky Richards Greystoke stable
