In Greystoke Galloper

Baratablet delivered on earlier promises at Hexham yesterday for Nicky Richards.

The 5 year Baratablet, who had been second in his previous two races, made it third time lucky today when winning the Happy 40th Birthday Kerry Kirkham maiden hurdle over 2 miles 4 furlongs at Hexham.

Settled in third by Danny McMenamin, he produced him to challenge on the run to the last hurdle. He quickened to the front on the run in to win cosily by a length for its owner Jimmy Fyffe.

This continued the great run of the Greystoke stables.
