The Kalooki Kid jumps to victory at Doncaster

The Kalooki Kid jumps to victory at Doncaster today to continue the Great form of the Nicky Richards stable

The 6 year old Kalooki Kid put up a great performance at Doncaster to win the Bet365 Novices limited Handicap Chase over 2 miles 3 furlongs at Doncaster on Saturday.

Settled in third by Danny McMenamin he moved effortlessly into the lead on the run to three out. Bucksy Des Epeires, the Venetia Williams favourite, tried to challenge over the last two fences but the Kalooki Kid easily held him off to win comfortably by 5 and a half lengths.

This continued the excellent form of the Greystoke stable and was a further tonic for Nicky Richards has he recovers from his fall on the gallops.
