Summergrounds delivers for Nicky Richards at the big Ayr meeting on Friday
Summergrounds put up a great performance at Ayr to win the Jardine Utilities Race to Repair hands and heels handicap hurdle at Ayr on Ladies Day.
Summergrounds was ridden by Nicky’s young conditional female jockey Miss Ella McGarry.
The 9 year was settled by Ella just behind the leaders, moving to challenge just after 3 out. Under Ella’s driving, it collared the Paul Nichols Below the Radar to get up close home to win by a neck
This was was a great day for Ella and her family and she gave Summergrounds a great ride.
It continues the great form of the Greystoke stable of Nicky Richards
