Serious Ego wins at Perth

 In Greystoke Galloper

Serious Ego showed age is no barrier at Perth yesterday.

The evergreen 11 year old, Serious Ego, showed the years have not slowed his enthusiasm or his will to win in the AK Bets Sports Betting and Casino Handicap Hurdle over 2 miles.   Ridden by former champion jockey Brian Hughes, Serious was held up in the rear. He made steady headway, leaving the bank straight to challenge running to the last hurdle to quicken away on the run in to win by 3 lengths.

This was Serious Ego’s third win of the season, and gave his syndicate owners lots to celebrate.

Well done to the Serious and the Greystoke team. It confirms that syndicate owners can get all the owners thrills and benefits of racehorse ownership.
