Rickety Gate Wins At Kelso For The Nicky Richards Team

The Greystoke stable of Nicky continued its fine form on Sunday when Rickety Gate won the Join Racing T V Now Conditional Jockeys Handicap Hurdle over 2 miles 4 furlong at Kelso ridden by Conor Rabbitt.

Settled in the middle of the field by Conor, Rickety Gate was slightly hampered in the back straight. Despite this, Conor made progress on Rickety Gate after the second last to lead approaching the last and stay on strongly to win by one and quarter lengths.

Rickety Gate was winning the race for the second time having won the race in 2022.

In the next race Summergrounds ran a good race to finish third again under Conor Rabbitt.

Rickety Gate’s win and Summergrounds solid run continues the great form of the Greystoke stable.
