It’s Nicky Richards At The Treble at Ayr
Nicky Richards Greystoke stable continued its sparkling form with three winners yesterday at Ayr.
First to deliver was the very talented Florida Dreams who won the Coral Maiden Hurdle over 2 miles. Held up in midfield by Danny McMenimin he challenged on the run to the last hurdle and made up 4 lengths on the run in to catch David Pipes Phantomofthepoints and get up close home to win by a neck. The future looks very bright for Florida.
The second winner was the evergreen 12 year old Better Getalong who won the Coral Racing Bet Bundles Handicap Hurdle over 2 miles 4 furlongs. Always in the front rank ridden by Callum Bewley he led three out to beat off all challengers to win by one and three quarter lengths. This was a great performance by the old fella and gave Callum his first winner after returning from a long absence.
Things got even better when the special mare Aubis Walk won the Coral Safer Gambling Handicap Chase over 2 miles 4 furlongs . Given a confident ride by Sean Quinlan he held her up at the back of the field. Making progress turning out of the back straight, he challenged jumping the last to quicken away and win by a length and a half. Aubis Walk looks sure to rise up the mares ranks.
Two of Nicky other runners ran very well with Marown finishing second and President Scottie finishing third running a very promising race for the future.
The great form continues of the Greystoke stable this season!
