Japetus Wins at Newcastle to continue the great form of the Nicky Richards stable
The four year old son of Sea the Moon Japetus won the Pimms At Ramside Open National Hunt Race at Newcastle on Saturday.
Settled in last place by Danny McMenamin, Japetus started to make progress leaving the back straight. Danny then switched him to challenge approaching the final furlong although running green he soon got on top to win comfortably going away by 2 lengths.
This win by Japetus continued the excellent form of the Nicky Richards Greystoke stable and provided its owner Mrs Pat Sloan with another winner
