Doyen Du Bar Scorches to Success for Nicky Richards and owner Eric A Elliott at Kelso on Saturday
The 10 year old chaser Doyen Du Bar put up a scintillating performance at Kelso in the Bet 365 Handicap Chase on Saturday.
Jockey Danny McMenamin jumped off Doyen Du Bar into the lead when the tapes were released and he dictated the pace with the 10 year old jumping brilliantly. Turning into the straight, Danny asked Doyen Du Bar to quicken away and he quickly put distance from his nearest pursuer to win, eased down by 10 lengths.
It was a great performance of galloping and slick jumping by Doyen Du Bar who delighted his owner Eric Elliott who was in attendance. Eric who has had many very useful horses in of his own in the past was delighted with Doyens performance.
It continues the excellent form of Nicky Richards Greystoke yard.
