Coniston George wins at Kelso

Coniston George wins to continue the great start by the Nicky Richards stable

At Kelso on Saturday Coniston George built on the impressive start to the season by the Greystoke stable when winning the Just Add Tonic Maiden Hurdle. Held up in midfield by Danny MCMenamin he made steady progress to challenge on the run in and catch the favourite Flash Du Pistolet close home to win by a short head.

This is a great start to the season as Nicky begins to release more of his horses on the track over the next few weeks. It’s onwards and upwards for the Greystoke team.
