Castle Carrock Storms Home at Ayr

 In Greystoke Galloper

Castle Carrock, owned by R Bewley father of one of Nicky Richards jockeys Callum Bewley, was very impressive in winning the LiveScore Bet open National Hunt Flat Race over 2 miles yesterday.

Danny McMenamin had the 5 year old at the front for most of the way. He travelled strongly into the straight at Ayr before sprinting clear in the last 2 furlongs to win in a canter by 16 lengths. This continues the sparkling form of the Greystoke stable.

Earlier in the card Nicky had also saddled a second when Summergounds ran a solid race in 2 mile 3 furlongs handicap hurdle. Then No Regrets finished second in the handicap chase.

The Greystoke team continues to fire out the winners. If you want to find out more about getting involved, check out our racehorse ownership and syndicate opportunities and become part of the team here at Greystoke.
