Age Is No Barrier for Nicky Richards No Regrets at Hexham
The evergreen 12 year old No Regrets put up a sparkling display at Hexham on Saturday in the Paxtons Now Stocking Stihl Equipment Handicap Chase over 3 miles.
Danny McMenamin jumped No Regrets off straight into the lead as soon as the tapes went up. The 12 year old then gave a brilliant display of front running jumping. Leading throughout the race he went clear approaching the last fence and although idling on the run in he won comfortably by three quarters of a length.
There was great excitement in the winners enclosure when some of his syndicate owners welcomed him back. The performance of No Regrets was a testament to the care and attention given to the horses at Greystoke.
