The Kalooki Kid gave a sparkling performance at Musselburgh on Saturday to win the Bet 365 Scottish Champion Chase.
Settled behind the leaders by Danny McMenamin, The Kalooki Kid made smooth progress from just in behind the leaders to lead after three out to comfortably repel challengers and win by 2 and a quarter lengths. This was a great performance by the 7 year old and gave testament to his trainer Nicky Richards patience approach to his young developing horses.
His owners Kenny Melville and Kenny Haughey were delighted to see their horse win in such a high profile televised race.
