The Sun Shines for Summergrounds at Market Rasen

The Nicky Richards Greystoke stable continued their great start to the new season when Summergrounds won the Book Summer ladies day Now Handicap Hurdle over 2 miles 4 furlongs.

Held up in the rear by Sean Quinlan Summergrounds made steady headway on the last circuit.  Sean produced the 8 year old gelding to challenge on the run to the last hurdle, and the horse showed great resolution to win by half a length.

It was Summergrouds first win and was well deserved for the horse and the Greystoke team
